Tools

Practical tools for process mapping and workshop follow-through.

Two tools that go with ProcessPath workshops. Use the Process Mapper to capture how a process actually runs, with the people who do the work. Use ProPath100 to keep the workshop plan going for the 100 days after it.

Disclaimer

These tools support ProcessPath workshops. They are not audits, financial analysis, legal advice, compliance reviews, or guarantees of business performance.

The Process Mapper records a process as participants describe it. It is a facilitation and documentation aid, not a review or validation of how the process performs.

ProPath100 is a personal follow-through plan. It is a practice and tracking aid, not a performance review or an assessment.

Two practical tools

Both tools open in their own workspace, in a new tab. Read how each one works below.

Tool

Process Mapper

A guided workshop tool. Each person answers plain-language questions about their work, and a swimlane map of the process draws itself as they type.

Who it is for

Teams in ProcessPath workshops, including supervisors, team leads, process owners and staff with no mapping experience. Leaders can try it first in practice mode.

Estimated time

Self-paced. Save and come back any time with your map code.

What you get

A swimlane process map, a written start-to-finish summary with steps, problem spots and ideas, and picture and PDF downloads.

Tool

ProPath100

A 100-day follow-through plan for after the workshop. The same workshop plan, laid out in order, with boxes to tick.

Who it is for

Participants in ProcessPath supervisor and leadership workshops, from any organization, including new supervisors and team leads.

Estimated time

About ten minutes a week, from Day 1 to Day 100.

What you get

A personal 100-day plan in four phases, milestones to tick, a weekly routine tracker, your workshop pages in My Kit, and pocket cards.

Workshop tool

Map how the work really gets done, with the people who do it.

Critical processes often run on what a few people know. The Process Mapper gets that knowledge out of their heads and onto one page.

Each participant answers short, plain-language questions in six parts. Their swimlane map draws itself as they type: who does each step, where work changes hands, where it waits, and where it gets stuck.

How it works in a ProcessPath workshop

  1. Step 01

    Join with a code.

Participants scan the QR code on screen or type the workshop code. No account, no password and nothing to install. It works on a phone, tablet or laptop.

  2. Step 02

Build the map in six short parts.

About, Start & finish, People, Steps, Problems and Review. One plain question at a time, so mixed groups can take part without mapping experience.

  3. Step 03

    Review it together.

Your ProcessPath facilitator follows progress live, opens any map and leaves written notes that appear in the participant's tool.

What participants keep

  • Their own swimlane map, as a picture or a PDF
  • A written summary: what starts and ends the process, who takes part, each step, and each problem spot with one idea to fix it
  • A personal map code to reopen and improve the map later, on any device
  • A short checklist to confirm the map matches the real work

What your organization gets

  • Every participant's map, collected in one place by your facilitator
  • A group summary spreadsheet with each person's process, counts of steps, handoffs, decisions and waits, and their problem spots and ideas
  • Problem spots and improvement ideas in the team's own words
  • On request, your organization's logo beside ProcessPath in the workshop

Maps show the process as people describe it. ProcessPath treats them as a starting point and checks them against the work itself before recommending changes.

Practice mode needs no workshop code, and a finished example map is there to explore. Your practice map stays in your browser and is not sent to ProcessPath.

After the workshop

Keep the workshop plan going for the next 100 days.

A workshop ends in an afternoon. The work it starts takes weeks. ProPath100 is where the workshop pages live for the next 100 days, so each participant knows what to do next.

Nothing in it is new. It is the same plan from the workshop, laid out in order across four phases, with boxes to tick. It is built to take about ten minutes a week.

Four phases, Day 1 to Day 100

  1. Days 1–30

    Establish

Get the routines running. Apply the rules at the first test.

  2. Days 31–60

    Build

Team norms. The conversation you have been avoiding. First feedback using the five sentences.

  3. Days 61–90

    Consolidate

Re-score the team. Delegate one thing for good. Improve one thing with the team.

  4. Days 91–100

    Review

Look back honestly. Decide what the next 100 days look like.

How it works

  1. Step 01

    Sign in with your email.

No password. ProPath100 emails you a one-time sign-in link. It works on a phone, tablet or laptop.

  2. Step 02

Set up your plan in four short steps.

Set your Day 1 date, name a partner who will check in with you, copy in what you wrote at the workshop, and pick three or four commitments to start.

  3. Step 03

Spend ten minutes a week on it.

Pick the same day and time each week. Tick off milestones, mark your routines in the weekly tracker, and keep your notes up to date.

What participants get

  • A 100-day plan in four phases, with milestones in three parts: Personal, Peer and Team
  • My Kit: the workshop pages as fill-in fields, including My Role on a Page, Stop / Start / Continue, a stakeholder map and a team rhythm
  • A weekly tracker, with one tick per routine per week
  • Pocket cards for key moments, such as the 15-minute huddle, the 20–30 minute 1:1 and a hard conversation in five sentences
  • A Day 0 team snapshot to re-score later in the plan

How it fits with a ProcessPath workshop

  • It follows the same plan participants worked on in the workshop, in the order they will use it
  • Participants from any organization can use it
  • Each participant can name a partner and the one question that partner will ask at check-ins
  • Each participant can export their own data at any time

ProPath100 is a personal follow-through aid. It records what each participant chooses to track. It is not a performance review or an assessment of the participant.

ProPath100 opens in a new tab. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email.
